Ideal K9 consultations help us customize your experience, by evaluating your dog’s specific needs. This deeper look helps us identify and address complex behaviors like anxiety or reactivity, ensuring we select the right program for lasting results.

Drop your pup off for school and pick them up later! Our day training program covers the essentials such as sit, place, leash walking, and even potty training. It’s the perfect way to sharpen the basics while you're busy. Note: This program focuses on foundational obedience and doesn't address complex behavioral issues.
One Hour Sessions
Ideal K9’s dog treadmill training. This can be added to Drool School, Paws 'n Play and Sniff 'n Snooze packages.
No Minimum or Maximum Night Requirements
Ideal K9’s overnight boarding package. We provide a safe comfortable environment right in our home to offer overnight boarding to anyone looking for a place for their pup(s) to stay while you're away. We offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times so we are able to work around your schedule. They are provided with plenty of playtime/snuggles/outside time/exercise/etc. throughout their stay with us for no additional charge.
Three, Private, One-hour sessions (with E-Collar)
Take control with Ideal K9’s Basic Obedience program. These sessions are designed to build a solid foundation between you and your dog. We provide a high-quality E-collar and full instruction on its use, ensuring you have the tools to maintain progress at home. Your dog will master Come, Sit, Place, Heel, and Break, while we use the Off command to eliminate unwanted behaviors
A minimum of Two Weeks
Our immersive board and train program allows your dog to stay with us for the duration of their training. They will master essential skills including Come, Sit, Place (boarding any object on cue), Heel (polite leash walking), Off (correcting unwanted behaviors), and Break (the release command). You’ll stay connected throughout their journey with text, photo and video updates. This package includes a professional e-collar for you to keep, ensuring you can maintain progress.

Taking the 10-skill CGC test is the final payoff for all your hard work! Once you feel like you and your dog have mastered all ten skills (or completed the appropriate class/training series), you’re ready to take the CGC Test with an AKC Approved CGC Evaluator.

AKC Community Canine℠ is the advanced level of the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen Program. Dogs who pass the AKC Community Canine test earn the official AKC Community Canine title that is designated by the letters “CGCA” (Advanced CGC) on the dog’s title record.

AKC Urban CGC requires that the dog demonstrate CGC skills and beyond in an urban setting. As with Canine Good Citizen, AKC Urban CGC has a 10-step test of skills that dogs must pass to earn the official AKC Urban CGC title. This is a title that appears on the dog’s title record at AKC.
